Message from Executive Director

Greeting from New Delhi!

It is my pleasure to be addressing you in my new capacity as the Executive Director of the United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI). I want to thank the Board, the USEFI staff and the members of the eighteen Indian Fulbright Alumni Associations for the warm welcome they have provided to me and my wife, Olga.

It is an exciting time to be joining the staff at USEFI as interest in collaboration with Indian Institutions of higher education is at an all-time high on US campuses, and the Indian student population in the US continues to grow. At USEFI, we offer three primary services:

• Indo-U.S. fellowship support through the prestigious Fulbright Program and other notable awards,
• The staging of academic dialogues in Inda, and
• Educational Advising on U.S. higher education, and on study of India for U.S. students, teachers and faculty.

If you are interested in receiving educational advising about U.S. institutions, you can join as an EAS student member. Membership benefits include library reference services, advising sessions and workshops and invitations to visits by accredited U.S. institutions. In addition, USEFI offers a fee-based  membership plan to U.S. educational institutions and universities. The institutional membership plan utilizes USEFI's expertise in the field of international education to provide specialized information and outreach services.
